"Unstoppable Time"
My life is but a drip in time
Although it is short is so sublime
The clock it ticks day and night
It starts out dark and then gets light
Your teenage years are just a blur
You are lucky if you know who you were
In your 20'S you take a wife,
major change in your life.
A couple of kids
that grow to fast
Sitting at the dinner table ........collage at last
Now you're in your 40's Mid-life crises is at hand
Your tired of asking nicely, now you demand
Life it seems to just pass away,
You stop and think ...me too some day
Now an urgency comes over you,
Thinking of all that's left to do
Your mind is racing like a train
And you loose yourself deep in your brain
When you wake up and reality comes to you
That there's really nothing you can do
Because the clock it ticks day and night
And father time always wins the fight.
